2006 Civic electrical monkey, Body Control Module?
2006 Civic electrical monkey, Body Control Module?
Here's the scenario:
The car would not start, but there was power to everything, and I thought it was sufficient. To rule out a bad battery (it had be quite hot the prior few days so I thought it may be a possibility) I jumped it. I have done this 50 times through the years on many different vehicles with no issues what so ever. It wasn't the battery, and turned out to be the starter. After I had it towed and the starter replaced (I did not have the time or motivation to spend 2-3 hours under the car in my driveway/garage in 100+ temperatures, I've done it before), I now have no power to the radio, remote locks, and the interior dome light does not come on when the doors open.
All the fuses are good, I checked and swapped them all.
I'm lost. Any ideas?

Ground wire or connector didn't get re-connected? Take it back to the shop that did the work?

Been there done that. I truly wish it was that simple. Chasing an electrical gremlin is no where as easy as fixing an oil leak. I'm hoping someone here has some insight. Hoping....

Wow, this is tough. A bunch of people have looked and this and only one person has any thoughts. I guess I am not the only one that is stumped.
Does anyone have access to a wiring diagram? That would allow me to trace the path of these certain circuits and figure out where there is a break.
It is the LX 1.8.

You haven't provided much information as to what has been checked and how.
I'm guessing you have jumped the car again, now that the new starter is in?
-does the starter now crank?

Voltage check or cold crank amps?
Battery can show 12v while being depleated in amperage.
But, its probably fine.
You can find all of the wiring diagrams in a Haynes manual.
(If you cant find one at a parts store, check online)
A digital multimeter and a test light will be needed, if you don't already have one.
-first look through each circuit which has an issue, if there are any items in the circuits which match multiple circuits, check that component first (such as a relay).
