07 Civic overnight battery drain
Re: 07 Civic overnight battery drain
I have an 06 civic stock, it drains in 3 days, it is probably the srs airbag computer, it pulls all the time. I have seen this mentioned in other civic forums and it seems to be common
Re: 07 Civic overnight battery drain
I have a Honda Civic and if I leave the headlights in the auto position the headlights do not come on but the battery drains after about 3 days. As a comparison, If I switch the lights to the off position the battery will stay charged for weeks.
I also found the same problem with the auto sensor on the windscreen wipers and also if I leave the ventilation fan running (this is despite them stopping when I switch off the engine).
To be sure I turn everything to the off position before I switch off the engine

Re: 07 Civic overnight battery drain
Just wanted to post some closure for anyone else having this issue.
I recently had a power draw on my 2007 Civic Si Coupe which I tracked down to the #23 fuse (Backup). After pulling all sorts of things (keyless entry, immobilizer, tachometer, stereo) I wasn't able to get the draw all the way down to an acceptable draw, though removing the tach weirdly did drop it from ~350 mA to ~150mA (still high). I ultimately solved the issue by unplugging and replacing the passenger side door lock/window switch component which I noticed was a bit sticky. It appears that this switch was stuck in some way which kept the BCAN system awake indefinitely after the 15-30 min window where it should go to sleep and drop the power draw to something acceptable. Since replacing it I have had no issues with power drain, so if you find yourself with a similar draw on fuse #23 hopefully this helps!
