Hello guys

My Honda 2007 civic ima 1300cc seems to have its amber brake light switch coming on and off and comes up with code.

24-01 BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR MALFUNCTION.

There is no difference in braking of any sort and the car seems to drive normal just have that amber brake system light come on with the above code.

Can someone possibly please guide me in the direction to look at. Possible cause for the issue.

Probably the brake pedal position sensor from the sound of it.

Brake pedal sensor, that being the small sensor on the brake pedal itself. Am I right? Thanks

See below for the diagram (item #4). Could be a faulty sensor or some issue with the wiring. I don't have schematics for the hybrid.
