Hi just got 2013 Civic LX and car inspection said
1) 195/65R15 tires are 6/32 for rear and 8/32 for front...what is it when new? so I know what % wear is.
2) Front disc pads are 6mm remaining and rear drum pads are 3mm remaining, what is the thickness when new? so I know what % wear.

From the service manual, Standard/Service limit is: 9.6-10.2mm/1.6mm front pads; 4mm/2mm for rear drum brake lining.

Edit: my service manual is for 06-09. So might not be valid for 2013. Always just buy the service manual IMO. That way you know it's not just info you 'saw online'.

Thanks. Also have the older Haynes 2001 to 2010 . Was hoping someone has the newer manual ie for 2013, guess will have to go and purchase it. Thanks again
