Rack and Pinion - Steering Column Bolt

Hi this is my first post here and I'm trying to replace my rack and pinion. Unfortunately I got to the first screw that I was supposed to remove inside the car that connects to the pinion assembly inside and stripped it. The bolt is on very tight and there isn't much space in the area so it's hard for me to work in there. Any advice on what I should do next?

I circled the bolt that I've stripped here.

Re: Rack and Pinion - Steering Column Bolt

For next time turn the wheel so there's more access to loosen the bolt. Then turn the wheel straight. You could try an extractor, or take it to a mechanic
