Trans removal

I have an 08 civic 1.8 auto w a bad trans. i got the replacement but am nervous about it. ive disconnected the CV axles, most of the visible plugs, drained the fluid and disconnected the lines connected to the block. i know im going to need to drop the subframe but not sure where to go from there. i havent been able to find much help on 8th gen auto trans removals. anything?

Next time create your own thread instead of replying to some random unreated thread.
Try searching for a clutch replacement video/walkthrough. 90% of it will be the same.

Re: Trans removal

Online manual available for free.

Link directly to transmission removal:

Just a warning. When you separate the transmission from the engine, there's a possibility that the torque converter will stick to the flexplate and separate from the transmission. This will dump transmission fluid all over the damn place. I've never pulled a transmission from one but this happened both times I removed the engine from an 8th gen.
