Hey guys I got a smokin deal on a b16a2 that I'm about to start rebuilding. I'm hoping to toss it in my 99 sedan and make a fun daily but I'm also hoping to keep it an auto. A manual would be fun but I've got a standard jeep with a heavy HD clutch setup and a race truck that's full manual as well.
I'm still fresh to the honda world but I cant find the name of an auto that would work. I've read that some USDM 99 civics had an auto trans but I've also read that that was only a custom order setup through a honda dealer. Is there an auto trans shared with another honda motor that would bolt up and if so what would the name/ trans code be?
There's a couple JDM autos on ebay, but since I'm in Canada and our dollar is weak as hell so its upwards of $1600 and I don't even know if they would bolt up since there is no name or designation to the specific transmission model.
I'm ready for the hate on wanting to ruin a b16 with an auto trans with terrible gearing but I can dream cant I? Thank you guys in advance!

need a b series trans + associated wiring, pcm, etc. find an automatic integra trans, or if possible a 2wd cr-v trans.
unfortunately integras and cr-vs have a different engine size compared to the b16, (1.8L and 2.0L) so the pcm from those vehicles may not run the b16 correctly.
its going to be way easier and cheaper to put in a manual trans
