2010 Type S MT - Thumping in clutch hydraulics
2010 Civic 1.8 Type S GT 6MT. 90k miles.
Get this sort of creaking/thumping sound from the clutch when raising the pedal in 1st gear and at low speeds.
My trusted mechanic says it’s common to Civics of this gen. and is just something they do.
It does not affect the clutch working at all. I just wonder what the noise is….
Is it just hydraulic pressure in the lines being reduced by the raising of the pedal?

Could try greasing up the clutch throwout arm on the trans as well as the clutch pedal mechanics.
