FRV manual transmission remove
FRV manual transmission remove
Hi all
I need to do the clutch on my 2009 FRV 1.8 and want to find out if I need to lower the transmission side of the engine to be able to remove the transmission. I know the chassis frame needs to be removed but I busy building a frame above the engine to anchor the engine to it so it is supported while the frame below is removed. If the engine do need to drop, do I need to disconnect the exhaust from the engine or can it swivel enough on the flexible coupling below the catalisator? Also, will the upper coolant pipe need to be disconnected as well?
