No first Gear

Hey guys new member here, just got a 2008 civic ex-l manual that wont go into first gear. I might just get another tranny and swap it not sure yet, I think it might be the syncro but who knows.

The question I have is when looking for tranny's I'm seeing code like JDM R18A, is this the code for the tranny I'm looking for not sure, I know it's the 1.8l engine but want to make sure before buying a tranny.

Re: No first Gear

For the amount of time and effort to pull the trans and then pull it a apart to fix 1st I would just throw another trans in it. You can then always fix the original trans at your leisure
