I’ve been dealing with this issue for a with I can’t figure out what it is. It’s a manual tranny so when I put the car in first and give it gas more so when I give it a good amount or step on it my car revs up to take of but it does it over and over till I get to about 20 mph and switch to second that it stops. The rpm goes up and consistently and doesn’t get effected when the car does this. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I don’t think it is the tranny because the rpm continue to go up but the car jumps over and over

Clutch slippage would be engine RPM increasing but vehicle speed doesn't. Is this what's happening?

No it the engine revs like it’s going to take off but instead of taking off it just revs up

I figured it out I had a giant hole in the intake hose and replace the sensor thank you though
