2012 transmission. Issue

My daughter wrecked her 2012civic. The Transmission solenoid was bumped and was leaking. I replaced the shift solenoid with one off of eBay. I changed the fluid and now it won't shift into 2nd and 3rd unless you let off gas right before it shifts. Then it goes into gear smooth. Also if you shift down to low 1 it has a delay and shifts hard into each gear as you go up to drive. I hope it's just a bad decision in getting the part off ebay. Was going to get an one part next. Any recommendations? The car had no issues and has about 75,000 miles.

Re: 2012 transmission. Issue

Replace with OEM for sure.

You might be able to find the part cheaper than through the dealer though.

-get the OEM part number and you should be able to find the right one. Probably a Denso branded part.

You can try Denso's parts lookup sight.
