Check emmision light 2014 honda civic
My check emission system light keeps coming on. I have already changed the purge valve and the canister. Light went out for about 2 weeks now came back on. Can anyone help me solve this issue?

What is the actual fault code? Without that, you're just throwing parts at it.

The codes I got were P0497 and P145C. Both said purge valve

You will need to troubleshoot the purge valve.

It is a normally closed solenoid valve. Remove and use a handheld vacuum pump/gauge to check.

Or, you can just replace it and hope for the best.
