Problem idling:

My civic is starting fine, riding fine for about 20 minutes, then shaking when I come to any stop. If I stop long enough, the gas pedal loses the power to accelerate, and the car won’t move. If I then shut the car off, it will not start again. Can’t smell anything strange. I had it towed to the Honda dealer last week. They changed the spark plugs, did tests, charged me $400, and said it was fixed. Drive it 60 miles home just fine. Then today the same problem happened at a stop sign. Fortunately I caught it before the car died and I kept up the rpms so the gas pedal kept power. Any guesses to what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.
