Lingering minor problem...(acceleration wise)

Hey guys....I have a small problem... the acceration and the gas pedal on my car seems more stiff..and there's less punch....If I push the gas pedal the car doesn't really move like it used to...I sorta have to push it extra harder just to get the same speed as it Used to be...and I don't know what the problem could be...it's not a big problem but it's fairly noticeable... I changed the 3 qts. tranny fluid myself...i changed the air filter to an "ok" purolator...spark plugs are good....It just seems like have to push the gas and rpm's higher to get it going...unlike before..where acceleration was so much smoother... Do I have to get the Whole Transmission fluid FLUSHED to restore the power like it used to be? I have an auto by the way with only 25,000 miles still fairly new....but the gas pedal doesn't push through like it used to....btw How would I be able to check the throttle cable..is it under the hood..or do i have to go under the car to adjust it...? maybe it's just loose?

I have noticed that same thing with my car. WTF's going on? I'm also interested in knowing.

I just changed the spark plugs, 27K... the car got some kick back. I don't think the spark plugs are all that great to begin with, and certainly not good for 105K like Honda claims. Mine were pretty much toasted. I would go and get some new plugs, and dump a bottle of injector cleaner in the gas tank, then see what happens.

I changed out the plugs, put my stock intake back on, changed tranny fluid, and changed air filter with K&N OEM. Car feels alot better now at 18K miles. Sometimes, though, the car will have bad days and not pull as hard. Maybe your throttle cable got loosened.

You can clean it with a high-flash solvent, something like brake cleaner. Just don't have the engine running when you do that.

nah, you have to get thorttle body cleaner. start the car, and make sure its not dusty around (first take off your intake/air box to expose the throttle body). spray the throttle body cleaner at the throttle body, not too much tho. the car will sputter but thats ok. play around with the throttle so you could clean the inside of the throttle body as well. the exhaust will smell, but its ok, just keep your car running for a while.

yes, thats it. but the gold part is just the throttle body butterfly plate. if you step on the accelerator, the plate moves so more air can go in. you have to push in the plate and clean the INSIDE along with the outside. you'll know what i mean. just get your finger and push the plate on one side or the other and it'll open if you cant find the throttle cable to open it.

Dont use brake cleaner, it might eat up some of your rubber seals. Maybe try a bottle fuel injector cleaner instead. Did you use Honda ATF fluid or some other brand? Also check your tranny fluid level. Too much ATF can make your car feel sluggish.

Oil I could do myself, ATF change do myself....spark plugs I could do myself...i'm already a Pro...but Is it because my throttle cable has gotten more loose that acceleration is not as Lively as it should be?! My car feels more sluggish than before!
