Engine Stalls on Slow Continuous Right hand Turns
Engine Stalls on Slow Continuous Right hand Turns
Hello,
I am looking for some advise on an issue I have been having with my 2008 Honda Civic DX. Every once and a while, when I take a right hand turn at like 15 mph my car starts to stall. Its completely stalled on me a time or two and scared me half to death. The car doesn't jerk or vibrate like I dropped the clutch or something. I always have the clutch all the way in and the car rolls freely. I can feel the power steering and braking start to go and the lights dim and the engine sounds like its stalling. I think that I must be starving the car of gas because it is sloshing to one side of the car or something. Has anybody else experienced the issue or know if this is common? Its not really an issue just a curiosity but if replacing the fuel pump would fix it I would do it.
Thanks,
Ben K

BrotatoChip,
First off, dope username
Second, It might correspond to the fuel level but yesterday it happened when I had a half tank of gas. Shouldn't there be enough gas in the fuel lines to survive one corner anyways? I didn't think cars had issues with fuel starvation in this century. Shouldn't every civic user have this same issue if its just a low fuel levels.
Thanks,

If everything were working properly, it shouldn't. There could be something wrong with your fuel pump or fuel pickup in the tank though. It may not be fuel related whatsoever, just trying to make connections.
