Car maybe running rich. Take it in for diagnostics?
Hi folks,
I have an 09 Civic and the fuel economy seems to be getting worse over the years -- original owner. I feel like it's running rich: exhaust smells like fuel, spark plugs were dirty and dark, exhaust is completely lined with black soot. But, I'm not sure, and I can't really diagnose this. Has anyone else taken in their Civic for fuel trim diagnostics? I tried doing it myself a while back using an ODB2 reader with Torque Pro on my old 01 Civic, and I couldn't really make heads or tails of it.
Much thanks
