define "fine". There was one that opened the fuse box, simply glanced at the fuses and said they were fine...

not too many fuses, I would simply start pulling them out and check... should be faster than starting the computer, getting into the forums and typing a reply...

there were no blown/burned out fuses. That's what I meant when I said they were fine

Re: Car does not crank

Do you hear a click noise when you turn key?
  • if yes, starter solenoid relay is working, but not turning
  • if no,
    • Check electrical contacts to the starter motor
    • Check if relay is working, replace as needed
    • solenoid is stuck, wack the starter motor.
    • check if no rodents chewed the wires (it's common...)
you can also use multimeter to check if no shorts (at the fuse box)

Re: Car does not crank

watch this one too. Electrical parts have different placements than my 2002 car, so youtube is a potential source for solutions.
if you are lucky, you find some pearls like this one, luck you it is same year

If not, smack the motor, it could just be stuck

Re: Car does not crank

be careful, the 2nd video says that he got a new one that was not working properly.
test it before installing. end of the video, he showed how to test (you can actually test it before buying a new one, unless you already tested based on the videos) - i am assuming you did, from your reply...
