2008 Honda Civic Temp Gauge Issues

2008 Honda Civic Temp Gauge Issues
I have a 2008 Honda Civic lx . Today my temp gauge was going up into H and then back down, then sitting normal then back to hot as if it were over heating. There were no leaks all the fluids were full. Coolant was full and not leaking as well. No smoke no signs of actually overheating. This just started happening. I don’t see milky white oil. No white smoke from exhaust. No leaks noticed. I do noticed from time to time when I’m idle it will be choppy then back to normal. Runs good when driving not sluggish at all. Just had a tune up done new spark plugs fuel flush etc oil change. Any help is appreciated thank you 🙏🏼
