Hey guys,

I've been posting to the 7the gen forum for awhile, but got an issue with our family's 2008 LX sedan automatic. Sometimes (and its not weather dependent or dependent on anything else it seems) on startup, the whole car seems to want to surge forward when the car fires up. Initially I thought it was sort of backfiring, but I noticed tonight that it feels like the whole car is jerking forward, but being held by the parking brake and parking mechanism in the tranny. It just happens for a split second when the engine catches on startup. Anyone had this problem? Could it be tranny related? I've noticed that this Civic's transmission is much clunkier at low speeds than my '01. Thanks for input...
