Hey this is my first post here and I just wanted to see if anyone could give some advice if they have used either:
-Any ECU chips for horsepower boost, or
-Pedal Commander, a similar box you plug in

Im looking to start my modifications on my 08 Civic EX Sedan with getting it a little more acceleration and or torque! Next would be I’ve heard of something like forced induction ignition or something? And or of course I know pipes can add to horsepower, but being not too wealthy right now, actually quite broke, im kind of looking to make a decision on what’s the best value for money for a first upgrade to my new car.

Do your maintenance.
the only upgrades that will make an actual difference are either an engine swap or forced induction (turbo/supercharger). Either way they will cost several thousand dollars.

Pretty much the comment above. Any of the non-Si's require pretty outrageous investment to yield anything.

Drive it as is and start researching what other people are doing
a lot goes into car maintenance, keep enough in bank for bad days
