VTEC question - D17a1 swap FROM D17a2

in need to put a 04 A1 into a 01 A2 body
the A2 thru the rod i have a A1 that is good
i see a round part next to air filter that bolts to the head
on the A2

thank you i was worried about metal shavings in head
do i have to get new head bolts?

As long as the OEM bolts aren't damaged they are reusable, think they're pretty cheap new if you want the piece of mind

you will likely get a engine light for not having VTEC unless you use the A2 head. Just reinforcing this.
