I wash my car at one of those do it yerself deals. I just put the sprayer to the highest setting and run it under my car at various angles. Seems to work fine.

Nah, it's not a show car but I like my WHOLE car to be clean. Not just the parts that are seen. The under carriage does get dirty. Plus it only takes a few minutes.

im with you.

just take your hose (even if it's not pressured) and angle it under the car and carefully hose down the car. no matter what it's going to get dirty again, so be prepared to repeat the process like ever couple of washes.

I can't imagine why you would want to clean underneath unless you go offroading or something.

I would do the wheel wells and not worry about the rest. Otherwise, just angle it up around the underside of the car and be done with it. Some of the automatic places clean the underside as well.

Oh, and pressure washer is great for getting your tires perfectly clean. Hold the tip real close and go around the tire until you have washed the whole thing is little 1inch passes. The tire will be completely clean, black, and ready for dressing. I do it every now and again to start fresh...

They are great to wash the engine compartment as well.

They are great for washing your house, driveway, deck, fence, garage, sidewalk, porch, etc......Of course you need a decent model for that type of stuff though..

Have fun!

yes doesnt everyone , as far as the undercarrige there is no point to it. I clean the under parts of the sides but only because you can see there and since its a red car it shows up more but the next few days your undercarriage is dirty again so there isnt really a point to it unless its all chromed underneath and you show it off

Uh, well. Why wash yer car at all if it only gets dirty again? I wash the underside of my car but I'm more of a perfectionist when it comes to my car. Just cause someone can't see doesn't mean I don't want it clean. Oh well. To each his own.

Hey, so do u guys wear dirty underwear if no one will see it?
LOL I'm just joking.

But anyway, you shouldn't worry about your undercarriage being totally clean; just spraying it at an angle should be fine.

I wash the underside of mine to try and keep my greddy from rusting. I'll take the hose and spray underneath about once a month during the summer time, but the winter...all the time.
