Rep Power: 0 just get some windshield glass cleaner, foam or spray, or you can mix ammonia and water and use that. to get rid of streaks just dry it with crumpled newspaper. no dont wax your windshield the wax will get on your wiper blades and reduce their effectiveness. some people apply rain-x to their windshield, which makes the water bead up and slide off. hope this helps.

Rep Power: 0 A little secret to get all the bugs and stuff off is get some high quality glass cleaner, with a piece of steel wool...spray on the glass cleaner and gently rub with the steel wool over the window u just sprayed...clean and dry with a paper towel or rag....to this day (a year and a month since I bought my car) my windshield still looks perfect and I have driven thru a whole load of stuff!
