putting wax on waterspots
hey i have excessive water spots on my hood got lazy today, and just waxed over them is it bad, to wax over the water spots, what does water spotts really do to a car anyways, its only water after all.

Rep Power: 0 It's not the water that does damage, it's what is in the water. It depends on how bad the water spots are. Waxes will clean the surface of minor inpurities but not bad ones. Can you see the water spots after you waxed? If not, then I would say you are ok.
