I use Zymol Carbon. I'm not sure if it's worth the price because it washes off too easily. Sure it beads the water nicely for a few days of rain but after about a week it's time to re-apply!

I'm looking for a nice replacement that is as smooth to apply and looks nice... Any ideas?

turtle wax ultra gloss. super easy to apply and remove, lasts 3-4 months or longer.

shouldnt you be doing the sealant before you go and apply the wax. From my understanding the correct steps are to polish the car with whatever you wanna use, then apply a sealant to protect the polish, and then wax to bead off any water.

Anyways, Ive been through a few different waxes, and my latest is Natty's Blue which has been by far the best wax that Ive applied yet.

The sealant last longer and needs to bond to the surface. So it is wiser to put it on first. Otherwise its like a steel fortress on a styrofoam foundation.

meguiar's 3-step is awesome, but expect to take about 5hrs. that includes a wash and 2 coats of wax. definitely worth it at least once a year. meguiar's site has a v good tutorial and their own forum.

it's really good for cleaning off the jackass's paint off of your bumper when they decide to do a hit and run while your car is parked too. check out my before and afters.
