Effects of winter on our cars
I was just wondering if it was smart to keep CF components, aftermarket wheels, and lip kits on during the winter time, or would the winter destroy them? And if you have no choice but to keep them on, what is the best method of keeping them in good condition without a garage ?
no, it's the the winter weather that will destroy them, it's the salt and calcium they spread over the roads that will probably damage the finish of CF and alloy parts.
I kept my Vic in the garage for winters and washed it twice a week.
Your best bet is to avoid driving in the winter. The only alternative is to keep it clean inside and out.

take off any exterior aftermarket part and replace it with your OEM part period.
Think of how slippery the roads get... do you wanna damage your rims, c/f hood, etc...?
And like YUL said, the salt will fvck up a lot of parts.

i had mine on this winter, of course someone hit me and got em repainted and ****, but besides that, they were just fine, just clean em cuz they look like **** after a while, and the salt eats away at part of the side skirt in the wheel well, but a little touch up does the trick. had mine lowered, kitted, and rims, just fine all winter. its the other people u have to worry about.
