Wax "spotting"

After I've waxed my car and go to buff it off, I get loads of really small spots of wax. They do come off but takes a LOT of elbow grease and time. Is this normally the case and i've just got to suffer a sore elbow, or am I doing it wrong / not leaving it long enough / leaving it too long? Or maybe i'm using crap wax?

i used everthing know to man, The best i found is Ibiz cleaner and car wax. Use cleaner first on whole car put on front to back, put it on area and wipe off. Then use wax on whole car front to back. With wax you gotta use one town to put in on and anoth one to take it off. After a while get anoth clean rag to take it off cause towl get's loaded with it and it will streak. IT's amasing the finish and shine you will get it also fills in scratches swirl mark's ect. At first i thought it was just like any other wax\cleaner but i was wrong. Read the testimonal's on their site. http://www.ibiz-inc.com/about.htm

I used Turtle Wax Extreme paste. Just rub on with the supplied sponge, leave and wipe off.

try claying (it will make it smoother and easier to remove wax). it may be that when you wax and don't clay before hand, the wax may be sticking to the bonded contaminants, thus making it harder to remove.

what's your surface prep process? sounds like your paint isn't cleaned underneath or your wax is going on thick...

use an orbital to put the wax on, goeson muc smoother and more even which makes it easier to take off
