Rep Power: 0 I haven't read to much in the DETAILing section. but I've been using the
wax cycle for about 10 months and nothing is wrong with the paint.
I did wax it first though. Really like the Mother's carnuba wax.
Hope that helps.

Rep Power: 391 I don't see how you'd harm your paint using that wax... however it'll never give you the same effect as when you wax ur car by hand... oh and when u wax it by hand - no more pressure wash for u! pressure wash strips wax off
unless you're using the hand wash ones where you control the distance and pressure in which you hold the wand... but the laser wash here in town - asked the guys who run it, and it strips off the wax... so they lost my business the second they said that

Rep Power: 391 whatever you do, make sure to pressure wash the scrub brush BEFORE you put it against your car...
while in a pressure wash -- whats the LAST thing you wash? your WHEELS & TIRES... you don't want someone else's dirt scratching up YOUR new paint, would you? naah, didn't think so.

Rep Power: 371 Just so you know the wax at a automated car wash isnt really car wax....Also the hot wax when you goto a car wash isnt really wax.....What it is, is a product called Easy Beads. It is meant to make the paint look a little glossier and it will let bead up if the surface is hosed down or rained upon. It only lasts a week though...or through the first rainfall. If this is all you use to protect your cars paint, then you better start using regular car wax....This is doing nothing to protect the paint and your finish will dull quicker.
