In case anyone else was having the same probs as i was...
My carpet was FILTHY. And my floor mats...i tried like 3 different carpet cleaners and they never took out the stains completely...
Then i got the bright idea to try laundry stain remover...that "Spray 'n' Wash" stuff!! i took the floor mats out and sprayed them down and scrubbed them with an old car washing brush i had in the garage and then hosed them off....and i just used a toothbrush/damp rag on my interior carpet...
worked awesome! just a lil tip.

wow, love fest in the detail forum. Sneaky, not nearly as many people look here. hmmm, what are you hiding? I use the Meguiars carpet cleaner for just regular stains, but for tough stains i use Oxyclean mixed in a spray bottle. Gets everything right out. If you do that, be careful because it will build pressure in the bottle and swell up if you leave it sealed. Sometimes it even leaks.

Yeah, I like to use Oxy-Clean too (in an open bucket too... LOL). I then use my Little Green Clean Machine with warm water to get all the soap and dirt out.

oxyclean cleans EVERYTHING! I use it on my carpets, couches, home carpeting, my pipes/bongs, whatever. IT CLEANS IT ALL!
I highly recommend it. For all your bong cleaning needs. Eats resin right up, and not many products can do that.
My carpets always look brand new with oxyclean and a carpet cleaner. I love it!

do they have oxyclean at kmart or walmart? I know they always advertise stuff as being on TV only, but for some reason kmart and walmart always have those same items!
Re: Carpet cleaning
I have used equal amounts of water and clear vinager in a a spray bottle
and plastic brush to rub and clean, dried salt stains from the carpet just
remember to vacuume after your done rubbing your carpets. works pretty darn good. I will try and give the oxyclean a shot next time.
