Hey, I was just curious as to how you get rid of the excess wax that turns white around the plastic parts of a car.
Thanks!
Thanks!

try some bug & tar remover, and let it sit for a minute or so... then wipe away. i found bug & tar removes just about anything. i use the turtle wax brand that comes in a yellow can and not to mention it's clear coat safe.

^^^but then you need to rewax after using both of those products. Pic up some Meguiars Quick detailer and a microfiber towel and spray it on the excess and then wipe off.

go to the store, buy a paint brush, cut off about half of the bristles, i.e. make them shorter.
Then simply wipe them off, or use a toothbrush. The wax will just brush away.

to remove the excess wax, use a boar's hair brush. dont use nylon because it will scratch. everynoe and then, you can find a set of four brushes at auto parts stores (1 of each, brass-steel- nylon-boars hair). to prevent this in the future, dress exterior plastic w/ vinyl protectant and dont wait to long to wipe off wax. it is a lot easier to remove wax before it gets dried, i put on wax on a panel and then remove before proceeding to the next panel
