Mr. Clean autodry - the review

So the weather was excellent today, so i went to CT ( same as home depot ) and bought myself one of the new autodry car wash machines by Mr. Clean. It comes with the machine, one filter and a bottel of soap. Filter is good for 3 washes and has to be replaced, or at least that is what it says.

So i washed my car, the regular water sprayer on it is good, not high pressured but it gives out a good amount of water. the soap sprayer is also decent, it gives the soap a nice thickness and cleans pretty well. But it really does help better if you actually scrub your car after spraying it. then i rinsed it.

Now comes in the important part, the Dionized water sprayer, it gives out the water as a mist, it almost feels like you are spraying wax on your car, i sprayed the entire car, even the wheels with this so called dionized water, and then left the car, 25 minutes later i came back, the car was perfectly clean and dry, including the glass, also no signes of any of the water freezing.

I would expect it to dry much faster in summer as it was only 3 degrees outside, so in all, the 30 CDN i payed for it was worth it, i just hope the filters dont cost too much.

Thanks for the review. I've been thinking about buying it but I figured it was some kind of gimmick. Looks like I'll be buying it next week.

i've said it many times before & you'll save money.... buy the absorber & the water blade. both will run you around $30, and will last for years. and you don't need to get/waste $$$ on refills, etc...

So NO water spots?? Your ride is Silver right Player? Water spots are lil harder to see on that color. W/what you told me, I'm almost wanting to buy it, BUT dunno if my EBP Vic will show up water spots you know. So if someone out there does use it on a darker colored car..then please PM me or something and let me know how good it really does work. Thanks...

Thumbs up I tried that Mr. Clean AutoDry Carwash today

I figured it was only $20 & they offered a full refund if I wasn't 100% satisfied. So I bought it & tried it out today. And I was extremely impressed! It did an incredible job. The only place I noticed water beading was on the molding on my front windshield, but not on any of the other windows. There were a very few places where there'd be a drop of water or two & I just swiped them with the chamois, but all in all it did a great job. Even on my wheels & tires. I have chrome wheels, so I expected them to be all spotted, but not at all!

It didn't strip my wax & my paint even feels softer than before. I think it's even cleaner! I noticed my sponge was really dirty & when I looked at the FAQ here's what it said: "...Mr. Clean AutoDry Carwash is so great at cutting dirt..." I need to get a new sponge now, but I'd rather have the dirt on my sponge than on my car. And the soap even smelled really good!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who, like me, doesn't mind washing their car but hates drying it! It even saves time because while it's drying you can be cleaning the interior or doing anything else! SOOOO WORTH THE $$$!

Cliff Notes:
Mr. Clean AutoDry kicks ***!
No spots- even on wheels & windows
Car cleaner than usual, paint softer
Highly Recommended!!
