Put wax first or polish first?

I tried searching but I couldn't find the answer. Do you put coat of wax first or coat of polish first? Thanks in advance!

polish first.....it brings out the shine, then wax over top of it to protect it.

i swear by this method:
wash
paint cleaner
paint polish
carnuba wax (2 coats)

yeah, i use paint cleaner too.....but only twice a yr, cuz it starts to build up.

Yea the clay bar will make the paint as smooth as glass. Make sure you dont polish the car too often. Maybe every two months.

what cleaner, polish, and wax do u use FALKEN or anyone?? where does the clay bar fit in that order of steps

i use meguiars 3-step system...

heres my detailing order:
wash
paint cleaner
clay bar
polish
carnuba wax
carnuba wax

Muguiars 3 step is the nbest and is aesy to buff.
ALso rain -X the windows for the ultimate smothe car.
