I have a 2002 honda civic coupe ex with a 1.7 sohc vtec with egr that just blew. I need a new motor but don't want a single cam anymore just curious what my easiest options are for a swap thats pretty much plug and play?

K swap is going to be the easiest option. It would be the closest you can get to plug and play with DOHC. Check some of the stickied threads in this same section.

Re: Engine swap?

easiest is the exact same engine that you blew up. otherwise you're looking at a kswap which is expensive and alot more work

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
