One next question can I run a d17a2 ecu with a d17a1 motor?
You can't use the PCM for an A2 engine on an A1 engine, it will set fault codes for the missing VTEC system and will stay in limp in mode.
Also, the primary O2 sensor on an 02 became an AF sensor on the 04-05 so that has to be swapped

HI guys I did a engine swap from my 02 civic. I replaced it with a 05 civic motor now I have 02 sensor problems can any one tell me if 02 civic 02 sensors is different from the 05 civic

please help me, first sorry for my english. i have usa civic 1.7 vtec, 4 door sedan, first the car was engine d17a2, i put there jdm d17a, i want ecu too d17a but when i plug the ecu there is rpm only 5000, i havent vtec, what is problem? ecu is d17a but from variator car, my car is mechanic... what i want to replace??? please answer...
