emanage/AEM EMS
emanage/AEM EMS
who is running what? the shop that i always take my car to wants to change me over from greedy to aem. he said its eazyer to tune. but i just cant justify spending 2 grand like the aem site says there tuning dodad costs.
this summer im droping lots of cash into my car to finish it off. i plan to run more then 15psi should i stick with the greedy profec e-01/emmanage set up that i have now or go with an aem set up and spend 2 times as much cash. will the emanage be able to run that kind of psi.

i think the emanage is a piggyback system, while the EMS is a complete standalone...not to mention is has a ton more features than the emanage...correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not a wiz when it comes to engine management.

Your right, and the AEM has alot more fine adjustment abilities, but I believe you could get away with 15 psi on an emanage, but when you get serious, like 20psi your gonna want a stand alone ems

15psi....i hope you are building your bottom end.
Anyway......there is no question that the AEM ems is better than e-manage.....it just depends on your budget.

Yeah the emanage is a great unit for the money and really there are no problems with it. What does pose a problem for us 7thgens is the barometric pressure sensor in our ecus. you can only upgrade the injectors so far before you trip a code(cause of fuel correction). So its not the emange thats the problem, more the inflexibility with our ecu. I should have my 30-1070 and a 3.5 bar map monday hopefully. This spring i will be running a full build with the standalone so I cant wait to see what the civ runs on 15+psi. at 6 it was a descent improvement. I plan on stockpiling some trannys in the basement lol
