I'm a honda civic 2001 EX owner in Brazil and recently i left my car at a local shop for maintance.
The local shop advised me that this model has chronic problems regarding the power steering pump and replacing the actual one would be optimal since it is not the original one and a very cheap aftermarket part that the previous owner installed.
Could you guys recommend how i should look for a good original part ( if there is ) or an equal or better aftermarket part?
I don't know if any of the recommendations you may give me are available at my country but i will try to fix it with good parts anyway...
