Extremely rough on concrete Highway, smooth as glass on asphalt
Extremely rough on concrete Highway, smooth as glass on asphalt
Like the title says, my 02 Civic 136,000 indicated miles has relatively new struts and springs and tires. Recently this phenomena seems to be getting worse. When I drive on the freeway which in Southern California is mostly concrete, the car feels like it's going to shake itself to pieces and the wheels are going to fall off. On asphalt roads, smooth as glass. No problem at all regardless of speed. I have read this is a problem on some Toyota pickup trucks but I don't think we share any suspension components.
Any suggestions on what I might be able to do to smooth it out or absorb the shakes better? The steering wheel literally vibrates back and forth about an inch in each Direction. Car tracks straight.

Tires are Falken, Struts are blue in color, no idea the make I didn't install. Could there be other bushings that amplify this effect when worn?
