Does it happen all the time, once in a while, or just this one time. Were you moving or parked? Its possible that you may have hit a "soft spot" in the road that grabbed the front tires and caused the problem. Do you have after market tires and wheels? If you do maybe something might be causing the problem.
You have a right to be concerned...althought my 02 civic hasn't really done that before, our 4Runner did it and it was scary. It could mean the tires need changing or that something needs to be tightened. Defintely take it to the dealership and have them check it. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]
In my old car, I ran over some rocks/pebbles while turning and the wheel jerked the other way and I thought it was gonna run the other way into traffic. Luckily, it stopped once the front wheels were cleared of the rocks.
