2001 civic lx front sway bar bracket broke, needs replaceent but $$$$

Thought I could just order up some brackets and throw them on since my brackets rusted in two. turns out just one bracket is 60 bucks???? All other years are available through local dealers and parts stores but 01 to 05 stock, all they sell are the actual bushings. Its hard to find the brackets. anyone know of some cheap brackets available? Id rather not have to order the whole sway bar just to get the bushings and brackets.

Check car-parts.com used parts. https://www.car-part.com
If there are local salvage yards you can have one pulled or pull it yourself (if available) and avoid the cost of shipping. They rate their parts by condition.

Also, using used OEM parts you don't have to deal with fitment issues.

Go to a junkyard if you don't want to pay the price of new OEM. This is basic stuff

If you're talking about the front sway bar links, Moog is a good OEM alternate. You can find them on RockAuto as well as other places.

i think he is talking about the mounts to the chassis, not to suspension.
regardless, if dampers are working, there is no need of the front bar, but car will be less understeery

Oh, that makes sense. I'm a little slow this morning.
