sway bar for lx

I drive a 2001 civic and i would like to put a sway bar which kind is good?
and what parts do i need because i ask a few shop and they told me
i will need to buy endlinks for the factory i don't know too much about it
how much would that be and what else would i need?

and does this make a lot different in handling or just a little?

you can buy it brand new at an acura dealership....
rsx type S - 19mm rear swar bar.. endlings.. bushings

you will have to have a custom install b/c 01 lx does not come with a rear swar bar...

i only know of one person that's done it on a 01 lx.

Grey has a rear sway bar...and he has an LX. There is a DIY for the progress 22mm for the LX on this site. The 19mm would be the same except you need to get a mounting kit. Dezod.com and tornactive.com both have them for sale. As far as endlinks go...Grey sells them. I have them and they are great..much better than the stock ones that came with my EX. I highly reccomend.

I do, RSX-S 19mm is enough for our civic...you may want to consider a better bushing though...I ordered from energy suspension...they came with brackets also...

and yeah...custom work...need to weld the endlinks onto the right places...

I'll be sellin my own 19mm soon....and yes I recommend Grey's endlinks. Not only are they beefier, but less chance of stripping them the way one would with those stupid allen wrench stock ones from Honda.
Got a 22mm DC5 bar comin monday brand spankin from Japan...I can get a few more too....

my rsx sway bar is on my stock endlinks... it's holding up fine so far... might upgrade in the future....

it shouldnt take more then 10 mins. to install....
if you install it yourself... you need an allen key... and sockets.

where did you buy your rear spc camber kit? and for how much?
thanks

wow! do you think you can hook us up?
or any sort of discount for the spc camber kit? front and rear?
how much is it at retail price? or are you guys not allowed to sell it individually...?

thanks.'

edit:..wait, 60bucks each... each of the rear..? if so, then $120, that's still cheap! and the front should definitely be cheaper.

welll, let me know if you can.
Thanks

Here's a question: is it bad to drive around for a while without a front sway bar? The reason I ask is that I plan on installing my header and catback in the next few days (gonna heat the garage up nice and warm) and there may be clearance issues with the resonator I haver in place of a cat. I am extremely impatient and don't want to wait until I've obtained a sway bar kit.
