Ball joints

Hi I have a 2001 Honda civic LX I replaced my ball joints with duralast they have no snap rings and the Castle nut is now just a lock nut I'm wondering if anyone has used these and how they hold up. Thank you

Never heard of a ball joint using a lock nut, I used Beck Arnley ones on my 05

if it have a plastic ring in the nut, it is supposed to work as locking
