I've taken my car to 3 different mechanics. Just had lower control arm swapped 2 days ago but the sound is still there. The mechanics are hearing the squeak but I don't think they're hearing the rubbing/crunching sound because it doesn't happen with every bump. Will be returning today but hoping to get a hint of what it might be. Google gives me a bunch of results about "clunking" noise but my car is not clunking. My car is crunching, and it makes the noise when I go over some speed bumps at a certain speed or if I enter a steep parking lot entrance opening. it occurs only on the right (passenger)s It's like a crunch or a burp or like a harsh rubbing of rubber

I've replaced:
​​​​​*Rear shocks/struts (Monroe) on both sides
*Llower control arm for the passenger side but not for the driver side yet
​​​​​​& 1 or 2 other things were swapped but I can't remember them it was a while ago

Not much left down there.

-do the tie rods have bushings? Cant remember
-do you have rear swaybar? (Sway bushings?)

also check the rear suspension upper bolts, if they tightened them under spring load while jacked up, they could be loose, while the vehicle is on the ground, with greater load.

I have the same crunching noise in my passenger side rear, when turning up an incline.
I relubed all the bushings, doesnt make the noise when I bounce the shocks, but I havent replaced the sway bar end links.
They dont have lube nipples, so oh well. I might have to replace them.
