OEM part # for suspension ball joint?

It seems like they only sell the knuckle with ball joint installed anywhere I look. Anyone know the ball joint part number for 7th gen Si model?

Otherwise, what aftermarket ball joints do people here use? I heard some bad things about Moog joints.

Are you in the USA or Canada?
An SI in the USA is not the same as an SI in Canada.

Looks like Honda only sells it with the knuckle for the USA SI

USA. Anyone use Mevotech? Should I be concerned that the part that sits in the control arm has ridges, could it gouge the control arm? http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....sn=414&jsn=414

Those ridges are splines, they are supposed to gouge deep into the metal of the knuckle as it is pressed into place.

I've also seen some people complain about the grease fittings on ball joints not fitting between the ball joint and the axle. If so, is it ok to take the fittings off completely?

Re: OEM part # for suspension ball joint?

That would leave an open hole for dirt to enter and grease to escape.

You can get 90 degree zerk fittings if the one supplied (looks like a 45*) doesn't clear the axle. I'd try that first, I've seen them clear ok on regular 7th gen Civics.
