Clutch bleeding help

I have a 2002 Honda Civic SI hatchback. I go to press the clutch in a goes all the way the floor, admittedly it does pop back up. But when I go to start the car in gear fuel pump Ford and start. But I can't shift it from that position the only way I can disengage from the gear is to shut the engine off. If I start it in neutral you'll just stand neutral I can't shift it. So I'm going to bleed the clutch system. Do I need a second person or is there a hack for doing it one person? Also does the fact that it does pop back up mean I'm looking at it the wrong way? The pool level was down I've topped it off but I've never bleed a clutch before.

Re: Clutch bleeding help

You either have air in the lines or your slave cylinder is failing.

Re: Clutch bleeding help

You can try bleeding but most likely you'll waste time. I would replace the master and the slave
