2005 Honda Civic lx auto transmission not getting into gear
My automatic transmission is starting to have trouble shifting from 2nd to 3rd and even sometimes from 3rd to 4th. I had check my trans fluid to see if it was smelling burnt or had clutch dust and it had a little bit grit but I had checked it again but couldn’t find any grit. The fluid level was up to spec and was still a bright red. I had talked to my pops about what could be the problem and he said i might have to change the trans filter because of the grit that I felt but I’m not sure anymore. Any ideas and does this Honda come with a serviceable trans filter because I have seen some post about it being inside the transmission. Thanks in advance

It's inside the case.
Try doing 3 drain and fills on the trans with the proper fluid to see if things improve
