2004 civic auto tranny peoblem
Hi guys,
I have a peoblem with my civic. Everytime when I stop at up hill for red light, when the light turn green I start to step the gas pedal and the car will move for half a secord then the car stop and the rpm is around 1200 rpm. I need to step the pedal alot more and the rpm go up to 2500 rpm in order to get the car moving. Sorry I forgot to said that it happen when the engine is at 90C coolant temp. The funny thing is if I shift to second gear at the same location and give some gas to around 1000 rpm ( car still not move since 2nd gear don't have enough torque) and then I quickly shift back to D then half a second the car start to move at normally at around 1800 rpm. The whole time my foot is at constant pressure.
I do not have any check engine light or flashing D4 light.
So my question is what is the main cause of this event. I know many people will said is slip slip and slip. But if slip why I shift to second then back to d4 and car act normal.
I change emy tranny fluid every 50k km and now the car is at 200000 km. Thank you
