you dont want it to chirp. chriping is basically the tires spinning faster than the car is going causing a quick loss of traction which will in turn slow you down a bit.

ok ok... just to try and help the guy out guys, and provide him with some positive info and questions, first off...
yourinmyworld- you need to explain the prob more thoroughly, because like xproductions said it's normal obviously for a car to drop RPMS in between shifts... if they aren't quick shifts they are gonna drop farther, do you understand up to this point? please elaborate more... and c'mon guys just try ta help the guy out to an extent...

last time i checked BOVs had nothing to do with wheel spin
there main and only function is to prevent compressor surge when the throttle plate closes in between shifts the pressure has to go somewhere and if it is not let off by the BOV then it will surge the turbo causing a severe stall in the turbine and it will have to spool again!

on a side note, lower tire pressure makes them easier to chirp

What he probably is trying to convey is that the car lags in acceleration. The RPM needle goes down more than it should;instead of the car accelerating right away, the RPM decreases dramatically before the car even moves.
