Has anyone Converted Clutch Hardline to an alternative?
2004 Honda manual DX, I might need to replace the clutch hardline that is against the firewall going into the Master Cylinder. I'm starting to read up about SS Hydraulic lines and was curious, has anybody replaced their hardline with an alternative cable on their Honda?
This is the line I'm looking to Replace: Number 15 on this diagram.

Looking at the hardline of my DX, its a disaster to recreate. Anybody use a flexible SS hydraulic clutch line?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I imagine getting the material, the tools, and trial and error that would be 100$ easy.

After the mass amounts of effort I have put into bleeding a clutch I will be bypassing the hardline completely and testing to see if it works if I install a Stainless Steel Clutch line. The Design of the DX Honda hardline is a disaster to mess around with.

You could use some ni-copp tube. Still a hard line but can easily be bent by hand.

Even if I do, 48" inches of SS hydraulic line instead of a corn maze of a hardline, I should be able to tell real quick if its a leaking hardline or if its the slave cylinder. I'll keep you guys updated. I'm not stopping until I get my Honda up and running again.
