2005 Honda Civic hybrid 1.3 L Transmission issue
Re: 2005 Honda Civic hybrid 1.3 L Transmission issue
I just finished redoing the head gasket and it drove fine for two days. I went to start the car for work and it wouldn’t shift out of park. I used the key in the shift lock and shifted it to neutral to start the car, when I shifted it to drive it killed the car. I restarted it and drove to work (57miles) with no problems. I had to do the same thing to leave work and it was driving fine 26 miles down the road headed home I had to reduce speed from 70mph to the posted 45mph. When the speed limit increased back to 70mph I pushed the accelerator and the engine just reved up. Leaving me stranded for 4 hours, my phone died right after I got this post posted. Short and to the point! Had I known a jack *** like you was just going to talk **** I would’ve never bothered!

Oh and my local Honda shop said the two are probably related and most likely not even a transmission related problem. But needed me to bring the car in for Troubleshooting which is a little hard to do since I had to walk home the rest of the way

not being a dick, some people comes with the least clue about cars asking us to magically solve, like What's that sound? - huh, we can't hear it... They are quite likely better off going to a shop and coming here later on if something sounds fish on their shop chioce.
OK, some information that we can work on.
check if alternator bolts are tight and it's not loose.
charge battery
low voltage cause all kinds of strange things in electronics, like the PCM. Alternator need to be removed to do the headgasket, so potential culprit.

[QUOTE Alternator need to be removed to do the headgasket, QUOTE]
The 2005 Honda Civic hybrid does not have an alternator.
So maybe you should just not respond anymore since you don’t know what you are saying. Thanks

typically the ones that are first to call others a dick are the actual dicks
Please start another thread about this, the way it is right now will not yield proper responses
